Tozitna Scholarship Program

Scholarships are paid out of the Tozitna Settlement Trust.

Students can apply up to 30 days before or during their current academic semester.

• Full-Time (12 or more credits):           $1500 per semester

• Part-Time (11 or less credits):            $750 per semester

• Graduate or PhD                    $1250, 2500

Tozitna offers scholarships for Higher Education and Vocational Training. The scholarships are awarded in the fall, spring and summer.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Student must be a Tozitna Stockholder or a descendant of an Original Enrollee. Must provide a copy of Birth Certificate, application will remain on hold until all paperwork is submitted.

• Enrolled or accepted for admittance to an accredited college, university, or a technical school.

• Vocational Grants: High school Graduate or have a GED Certificate.

• Higher Education Grants: Must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher and carry a minimum of 6 credits per semester.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• Official transcripts from the last school attended must be submitted to Tozitna, Limited.

• Letter of Acceptance from the school must be received from the student.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY

• Once an application to Tozitna, Limited has been submitted, KEEP US INFORMED ABOUT:

  • Change of address

  • Change of educational plans

  • Letter of acceptance (send a copy letter to Tozitna, Limited as soon as you receive it.)

Once in College, a student shall:

• Send transcripts to Tozitna, Limited at the end of each term in a timely manner.

• Please call Tozitna, Limited office immediately if withdrawing.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Deadline for submitting applications are:

• 30 days before the current semester ends (for example if your fall semester ends December 30th , 2024 the deadline would be November 30th , 2024)
