2024 Tozitna Annual Meeting Update

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, Tozitna held the 51st Annual Meeting in the Maudrey J. Sommer School Gymnasium in Tanana, AK. The meeting was well attended, there were lots of questions and comments and a community lunch was held after the meeting adjourned.

SHAREHOLDER OF THE YEAR

Tod Kozevnikoff was nominated and selected as the Shareholder of the Year. Todd was recognized for his sobriety, helping people in need, supporting dog mushing and basketball, creating healthy and fun activities for his kids and extended family, and his delicious cooking.

MEETING RESULTS

Tozitna has more than 750 shareholders and we had over a 44% quorum for the Annual Meeting. Election results: Eileen Grant (22,482), Denise Newman (20,490), Angela Folger (18,710), Adrianna Parker (9,264).

Congratulations to Angela Folger who was reelected to the Tozitna Board of Directors and newly elected Directors Eileen Grant and Denise Newman. Thank you to Adrianna Parker for also being a candidate this year. Welcome to Robert Erhart who was recently appointed to fill the remaining two years of the seat vacated by Selina Sam. Nina Heyano elected to not seek reelection this year and Audrey George and Selina Sam resigned in April.
